Up for sale is a great ES 335 style (see item specifics) electric guitar for the price! This one has been set up by a professional. The action has been adjusted so it is not crazy high, but it's low enough that you still get a nice Semi-Hollow sound like you would expect. No annoying fret buzz on the higher frets i. Past the 12th fret that plagues many beginner guitars.

It has also been intonated to pretty much spot on! Not only is the guitar in tune at every position on the neck, I feel that the guitar's tuning stability has improved substantially. Because it doesn't matter how good you are if your axe won't stay in tune!

Now that it's been set up and intonated, it plays and sounds just like an ES-335 type guitar should. Just what you would expect from a guitar modelled after a Gibson ES-335! It also plays very well. Your aspiring musician will not be discouraged from staying with this wonderful instrument. Because while it gives you just enough resistance to build up your finger strength and callouses, the strings aren't so high off the fretboard that you can't even grip a chord fully.

The neck on this one is very comfortable. Not razor thin, but not baseball bat thick, either. Still OK for smaller hands like mine and/or younger players that can't play the wide and/or thick necks on some guitars! The neck is not quite a Wizard neck. But kind of reminds me more of the higher level instruments from their Artcore series.

How many brand new set neck Epiphone Dots or other ES copies are out there at that price range? Intermediates will also love the sound of this guitar whose strings aren't so close to the fretboard that they're practically buzzing. You also have the included allen wrench with which you can adjust the truss rod if you want to. Because not only does this model play and sound great.

Either from farther away isn't that the closest your adoring fans will get to you from the venue floor? The fit and finish is good.... VERY good for this price range!

This guitar is brand new with box! Also comes with a very nice Grote gig bag to protect your investment! Strings will be cleaned with string cleaner, even though they are brand new.
