Seymour Duncan Antiquity P90 Dog Ear Black guitar Pickup Set Alnico 2 Magnets
Capture the weathered midrange grittiness from the bridge position of an original 59 ES-330 with our Antiquity P-90 Dog Ear. Chords have a gritty, honky midrange, and single notes are nice and articulate without sounding harsh. If you remove our hand aged dog ear cover, youll find the same hand fabricated bobbin, plain enamel mag wire, and flatback tape that was made in Kalamazoo during the early days. Capture the weathered midrange growl from the neck position of an original 59 ES-330 with our Antiquity P-90 Dog Ear.
Chords are full and round sounding, and single notes have a sweet, bouncy quality. Imagine the pickups out of an old'52 gold top or a'59 ES-330. By removing the cover you'll find the same hand-fabricated bobbins, wire and "flatback" tape that was used in the originals. Two specially calibrated Dun-Aged Alnico II magnets are attached to a precision metal spacer which transfers the magnetic field to the strings via six fillister head pole pieces. The "dog ear" version comes with an aged thermoformed black cover that looks great!
All versions have an authoritative, vintage tone. So please do not be concerned if you see that.
