These pickups are vintage correct clones of David Gilmours Black Strat set - but built as a set with identical "staggered" magnets. Moderate output and transparent sounding neck and middle make a great contrast to the hotter sounding bridge. Three completely different pickups - each one a clone of the vintage original.

This combination is as close as youll get to Davids Black Strat setup from Animals to present. AWG43 wire POLY ENAMELED wire. It has a classic, vintage Strat tone with considerably higher output and mid range. 5.8 kOhm with vintage correct AWG42 PLAIN ENAMEL - grey bottom bobbin, - R. Classic clean and transparent Strat tones.

6kOhm with vintage correct AWG42 HEAVY FORMVAR wire. A bit more mids scoop and bass. Staggered magnets rods with raised D string magnets and lower G and B magnet for perfect string to string balance. Spacing is 52mm on center. Hum canceling in positions 2 & 4 on a 5-way switch. Scatter wound, fully charged magnets.
