New Aged Set of 1950B Broadcaster Blackguard Pickups. I make these pickups right here at my shop in Indiana and stay true to the 1950-51 Blackguard guitars. They have been aged to make them look like they are 70 years old but they are new pickups.

They have that authentic sound and will cover anything from Luther Perkins to Classic Rock and Blues. Both neck and bridge are wound with 43 plain enamel wire.

Neck has A5 magnets, Bridge has A 3 magnets. Bobbins are dipped in nitrocellulose lacquer prior to winding. Then they are wax potted to prevent any unwanted micro phonics.

These pickups are a modern approach to vintage tone. Bare nickel cover that will age naturally. Includes 2 types of screws for body mount and pickguard mount. Well balanced clean sounds for Jazz, Rock, Country strumming or finger picking. Bare steel baseplate with vintage style slotted screws.

Smokey, chunky lead sounds with tight low end and a little twang if you want it. Brown Sugar "Keef" tones through a small champ amp. Also works well with high gain like a Marshall amp. These are a great set of pickups at an affordable price and I think you will be very pleased how they sound in your guitar.
