Australian Silver Ash Back & Sides Set for Acoustic or Classical - 2nd Grade. Back = 2 x bookmatched halves with minimum thickness 4.5mm and 610mm (length) x 238mm (Width). Sides = 2 x pieces with minimum thickness 2.5mm and 855mm (length) x 130mm (Width) - Back & sides to build a acoustic or classical - Dried and ready to use - Downgraded due to a small chip as shown in the photo Australian Silver Ash has a very light creamy-white colour and straight grain. It sometimes has small'pencil line' grain features.

It has a beautiful simple look and is an excellent choice for a light coloured Australian timber for a guitar back and sides. It has a medium-density and a crisp open tap-tone. It's easy to work with and carves and sands well.

Australian Silver Ash is a native species, usually grown in New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania.
