Master Grade Ancient Quilted Redwood. These sets are incredible, and very very special. This set is 4.2mm Thick. Amazing quilted figure and super tight grain. Please see all images to show how the grain changes from different angles - and please believe me when i say that these pictures really don't do these sets justice.

Please note that these sets are cut from ancient stock (see below for history) and so may contain some small cracks and splits - these are usually high-lighted in blue, but for the most part can be easily glued or filled by a skilled luthier. All these sets have been carefully inspected and are perfectly usable, but may require some extra care and attention due to their age. Now for the history - the billets that yielded these tops were cut from a salvaged tree that naturally fell roughly 120 years ago. These sets will make some truly fantastic and unique looking instruments!
