This set is a vintage correct replica of the 1964 Fender Mustang pickups - just before they changed the specs later in 1964. Flat Alnico V magnets, hand wound with AWG 42 HEAVY FORMVAR wire, black top and grey bottom bobbins. Back in the day these "transitional" 1964 Mustang pickups were wound slightly hotter - at approx.

5.9kOhm - giving them some extra bite and character. True vintage classic from Q pickups. Scatter wound, fully charged magnets. You can see the DC resistance on the photos, measurements will vary depending on temperature. Hum canceling when both pickups are active.
