These are a direct replacement for Epiphone Les Pauls and some Gibson Les Pauls. Many USA Gibson Les Pauls need the long shaft potentiometers. We have those available here. What does it sound like? The Seth Lover vintage output humbucker pickups are the perfect choice for players wanting to transform a guitar into a singing classic rock machine. The Seth Lover neck model gives you a smooth but articulate tone by striking the perfect balance of warm, full low-end and a nice sweet treble.

Single notes will have that perfect singing quality, and the un-potted nickel silver cover creates an almost piano-like tone and percussive feel. The Seth Lover bridge model gives you that warm, airy, open tone by striking just the right balance of low-end warmth with a smooth but articulate top end.

Chords will have a full, open sound, and single notes will have a soft yet articulate feel. The Seth Lover vintage output humbucker pickups are carefully hand built in Santa Barbara to Seth Lover's original exacting specs. Our butyrate bobbin molds are created by the same factory that built the original PAF mold for Gibson. Other key features include our specially manufactured 42AWG plain enamel mag wire, nickel silver cover, 2.5-inch alnico 2 bar magnet, custom machined metal and maple spacers, and nickel silver bottom plate.

We wind every Seth Lover humbucker on Seymour's original Leesona winding machine from the early Gibson factory in Kalamazoo, MI. For that unmistakable vintage tone and feel. Single connector braided vintage wire.

Neck: 7.4k, Bridge: 8.25k. 50's style pre-wired Les Paul harness for Gibson and Epiphone Les Paul. The 50's style wiring allows you to roll back on the volume and maintain more high end and clarity with less treble loss. Hand wired with the highest quality parts and cleanest solder connections.

This wiring harness will give you the clearest signal possible with even and balanced volume/tone roll off. 4 x matched CTS 500k pots. SHORT shaft, 3/8" wide bushing, 3/8" long. (CTS makes the highest quality potentiometers with consistant and reliable readings).

047 mfd Orange drop capacitor (produces a smooth and even treble roll off when cutting back on the tone controls). Vintage style pull back cloth wire (7 strand 22 gauge wire for the strongest grounding connection). Custom aluminum shield plate to insure proper grounding and noise reduction. NOTE: If you are replacing the electronics on an Epiphone Les Paul you may need to widen the potentiometer holes on the guitar.
