Up for sale is an underrated guitar that you really should check out by Spectrum.... Right off the bat, soon as you pick it up, before you even plug her in, you will feel how well this excellent axe plays!

It has been set up by a professional so the action is nice and low. So you can even do some Yngwie Malmsteen style shred with this guitar, but without any buzzing anywhere on the frets! It's also had its intonation adjusted so it is pretty much in tune all the way up and down as well as across the neck! It's also improved the instrument's tuning stability! I left it overnight in tune, picked it back up the next day, and it's STILL in tune!

Frets were a little sharp, so I filed them down all the way from the 1st fret to the neck pocket. Now, it's a breeze to move your hand up and down the neck...

This guitar is an absolute PLEASURE to play! And after you plug her in, you will HEAR how good she is. This Spectrum SOUNDS like a good Fender Stratocaster style should!

Don't really need to replace the pickups if you don't want to. They are, imho, very transparent and gives you what you put into it! What a sonic pleasure the Spectrum ST is!

They use a very solid, fairly heavy piece of wood to make the body of this guitar. Tonewood believers will definitely feel that this contributes to the wonderful resonance and 3 dimensional sound of this guitar! It is also a favorite for mods, too. However, if I was going to modify this guitar, I would actually leave the pickups alone, as stated previously.

Even though that's usually the 1st thing a guitarist will do. But if I was only going to perform 1 mod, it would be to replace the bridge/tremolo system. As to be expected, it's not as good as a Floyd Rose, for example, at staying in tune after you use the whammy/tremolo bar.

Otherwise, I feel that this is one solid, excellent instrument that excels at a beginner price point. But it's more like the quality of an intermediate guitar! And she's also a looker!

Love the orange sunburst top with black border! The fretboard has this beautiful "faux birdseye maple" thing going on. Very nice cosmetically as well as she is electronically and functionally!

So grab it now before someone else does! Please read the condition description, these listing details and examine the pictures carefully.
