Tokai Electric Guitar Les Paul Standard Sunburst LS148F VF 4.37kg W/Gig Bag. Tokai is a long-established Japanese brand that is trusted worldwide. The LS148F uses a super classic wood combination of maple for the body top and mahogany back and neck, with a flame-laminated body top.

The look and sound of this model are truly Les Paul-like. Many of the processes are done by hand, so each guitar has stable quality with little unevenness. The neck pocket is also completed by hand, and in addition to the precision woodworking with little distortion, it uses traditional hide glue bonding. The use of hide glue, a soft adhesive, allows the vibration of the strings to spread beautifully throughout the guitar, resulting in a clear sound that is less likely to be buried. This model does not incorporate many modern elements, and is vintage-like.

The pickups are equipped with two PAF Vintage MK2s. It has a good, earthy, smoky, and warm sound. The clean sound has a pleasant, crisp midrange, the front PU is sweet and smooth with little cloudiness, and the rear PU has a bright, sharp sound with the harsh high range suppressed, giving it a very easy-to-use impression.

The drive sound is a traditional rock sound. The rear PU is crunchy and wild, so you can strum it comfortably for both high-gain riffs and crunch chord work. The front PU allows you to enjoy a sweet and relaxed lead tone.

It is never cloudy, and has a good clarity that makes the sound fly far away, showing a rich expressiveness. The neck is not very thick, but has a firm grip, and the body is solid and not hollowed out. This also seems to contribute to the firm bottom and wide range.
