Torrefied Maple Guitar Back and Side Set Luthier Tonewood. Perfect to make a classical or flamenco guitar that stands out.

As seen in the photos, the torrefied treatment has brought out the Golden Honey color tones and highlighted the natural flames. Even with the wood in its rough cut you can see the rippling flames that will make this a stunning back and side set.

I have used torrefied tone woods on other projects and found they are perfect with only a clear finish applied and thier tone is more resonent - more bell-like. This comes from stock that had been set aside and stored in climate-controlled environment. Back - 22 1/2" long x 9" wide x approx. Ribs - 34" long x 5 1/4" wide x approx. Photos show a good representation of the color, flames and grain.
